Deli King, located at 885 Main St., will be serving its customers Greek and American cuisine for the last time on Tuesday, Jan. 30, WCVB first reported.
Brother-in-laws Dimitrios Gomatos and Arthur Agganis first opened the cafeteria-style restaurant in Tewksbury in 1989.
"Thirty-five years in Tewksbury and five years in Boston, Allston area," Agganis told the news station.
Deli King serves classic diner specials such as roast beef and chicken, soup d’jour, spaghetti and meatballs, pork chops, and more.
They offer breakfast all day as well as lunch and dinner.
“I love Deli King been eating here since I'm 7 highly recommended get the pancakes or the boot king,” one Yelp reviewer recalled.
Another customer wrote, “Deli King pretty much looks like the real life version of the Krusty Krab from the show Spongebob, inside and outside. Very outdated yet a huge staple to the town of Tewksbury, the townies would die without this place. I would die without this place.”
